Who am i and what do i do?
Hey! I am Kirsty and I am the founder of KJN Appearances.
I am a make up artist who specialises in bridal parties, wedding guests and occasion make up. I travel to group bookings as well as working from my summerhouse salon based in Prestonpans, East Lothian.
Other treatments I offer are HD Brows, Nouvatan Spray Tans and LVL Lash lifts, all the perfect treatments for your special day or holiday!
After a being stuck in a rut back in 2016, I decided to follow my passion and train with Glamcandy make up school. I just started off doing family and friends....and then their friends.....and then their friends. Over the years I grew a clientele where I could pursue this full time.
Over the years I trained in other treatments and have now honed my business into being your bridal and occasion beauty girl!
What services do i offer?
Make Up - Having originally trained with Glamcandy in 2016, my skills and experience continue to grow, using products such as NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Delilah, Tatti Lashes and much more! Specialising in wedding and occasion make up, my goal is to make you feel you but at your best self! Whether that be a soft natural glam or sultry and smokey looks.
Nouvatan Spray Tan - Using Nouvatan spray tan, this has revolutionised the world of sunless tanning, in less than an hour, you can be a glowing god or goddess and feel your best! With Nouvatan, orange spray tans do not exist and is vegan with natural ingredients so is not harsh to the skin!
HD Brows- HD Brows is a bespoke eyebrow treatment that is totally tailored to you – It’s so much more than a standard eyebrow tint and wax; using HD's unique design formula with custom-blended colour, hair removal and make up application for brows that suit you, whether your wish to tame bushy brows or regrow over plucked eyebrows..
Browsculpt (Brow Lamination) - Browsculpt is brow lamination with a bespoke HD Brows twist. Whether you dream of achieving that full, fluffy eyebrow look, or to create symmetry in uneven brows or tame unruly hairs, then the Browsculpt brow lamination treatment is for you. I also retail products such as self tan, make up and strip lashes! You won't find these products in shops and they are tried and tested by me!
